Charis Loke is an illustrator and educator based in Penang. Drawing upon literature and visual culture, she evokes wonder and curiosity through stories. She's also Comics + Illustrations Editor at New Naratif where she commissions and works with Southeast Asian artists.
Currently an artist-in-residence at Rimbun Dahan, Charis is making illustrated microfiction inspired by SEA. She designs geeky baju, sketched the 14th General Elections, and explained asexuality by way of sambal. Her work has been recognised by the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles and shown at Light Grey Art Lab as well as other galleries around the world.
Mimi Mashud has been a freelance illustrator for about 10 years. She has two travelogue-comics published by Komik Maple; Beijing in 5 Days and Kuala Terengganu in 7 Days. Other than drawing for money and relative fame, she also conducts drawing/writing workshops, so that other people can also draw for money and relative fame.
She is currently trying to come up with inventive yet evasive answers to "When will your next travelogue-comic be out?".

Fishball is a freelance artist based in Malaysia who likes her banana leaf rice drowned in a pool of dahl. She draws as her way of remembering and recording things, and is still pleasantly surprised that people actually enjoy her work.
After winning the Malaysian Comicker’s Challenge in 2016 and publishing a book about her life with her huge geeky boyfriend with Maple Comics, her slice-of-life comic series went on to be picked up by Webtoon, quickly becoming one of the most recognizable and well-loved series on their site.
